We serve a selection of teas, freshly ground coffee, hot chocolate, cold drinks, beer, wine and of course delicious homemade cakes.  If the sun is shining our courtyard makes an excellent place to catch some sunshine and if it’s too hot, relax in our comfy sofas under our covered barn area.

Pottery Painting

Pottery painting is great fun, whatever you age or ability. Choose from a large range of pottery pieces including cups, plates, mugs and bowls, then transform it with your imagination. We’ll be on hand to help. Everything you need to get you started is included in the price of the item you choose to paint.

How it works

  1. First you choose from a selection of items to paint such as mugs, plates, bowls, teapots and piggy banks.
  2. We give you paints and brushes and stamps and a quick introduction as to how to achieve the best results.
  3. Once you have painted your item you leave it with us to glaze and fire. It will be ready for you to collect within four days.
  4. Parties and group bookings: Looking for something to do with a bunch of friends, or somewhere for a birthday party idea? We’re available for private hire. Let us know what you need and we’ll make sure you have a lovely time.

Cake Counter

Freshly baked and straight to the cake counter are a selection of homemade cakes from Le Caillau. Some of our favourites are lemon drizzle cake, chocolate cupcakes, coffee and walnut cake and gluten free clementine and almond cake.

Throughout the quieter winter months cakes are limited so please give us a call if you’d like something specific or are planning to come with a group.

Celebrating steaks this Wednesday, Thursday and Fr Celebrating steaks this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening at Le Caillau!

In the evenings only this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (27, 28, 29 March) we’ll have three new steaks on the menu, served with a choice of sauces and sides. The meat is locally sourced from the Lot, Tarn et Garonne and Aveyron departments and carries the Saveur Occitane and Bleu Blanc Coeur certificates assuring best practices of rearing and feeding cattle.

We will have fillet, entrecôte and rump, all served with a choice of fresh, delicious sauces and our Le Caillau hand cut chips or gratin dauphinois.

From September to June, the Café & Pottery Painting Atelier will be open by RESERVATION ONLY. Reservations can be taken between 10am – 5pm every day except Tuesdays. Thank you!
